Police have cordoned off a house in Maple Cross after a woman was rushed to hospital this morning.
The house, in Ladywalk, is currently surrounded by police tape and is being searched by detectives.
Officers said they were investigating the property after an incident this morning, when a woman suffered head injuries.
The East of England Ambulance Service confirmed that a 43-year-old woman was rushed to hospital at about 5.17am.
She was taken to Watford General Hospital but the seriousness of her condition is not yet known.
