THE re-match was on as ex-Arsenal players and celebrities took on a team from Queens' School in their annual charity football match on Sunday.
The Arsenal team came well prepared, with former players including Danny O'Shea and Brian Hornsby, rugby international Martin Offiah and actor Frank Thompson.
But the Queens' staff and parents team were not willing to take their usual hammering and fielded a strong squad.
Goals from Michael Hynes, Mark Seller, Dave Bullock and Mike Hopwood led them to a close victory, with the final score being 5 - 4.
Manager Sarah Steadman said it was an enjoyable match, with plenty of action.
She added: "I would like to give a massive thank you to both Henry Tilly, for another year of supplying the kit, and the Otter pub, Bushey, for putting on yet another fantastic spread for both teams."
The event was in aid of raising money for Aspire and Cancer Research.
