A BOVINGDON man has died as a result of injuries sustained in a collision on Sunday.
The 30-year-old man was travelling in a blue Volkswagon Golf Cabriolet travelling along Ley Hill Road towards Ley Hill at 7.10pm when the accident occurred.
As the Golf approached the brow of a hill it left the road to the nearside, struck the verge and travelled back across the road into a large ditch.
The driver was the only person in the car.
PC Lee Bruzas, investigating the collision, said police were appealing for anyone who witnessed the accident to come forward.PC Bruzas said: "We would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision or saw the blue Volkswagon Golf before the incident took place."
