THIRTEEN original paintings and silk-screen prints, produced by members of the Ascend Oil Painting, Silk Screen and Craft into Business classes, have been turned into a colourful appointments calendar.
Sponsored and printed by Arlon Printers in Hemel Hempstead, proceeds from the sale of the calendar will go directly towards the work of Ascend.
Christine Wyard, Ascend's project manager said: "Due to the huge success of last years calendar, Arlon Print agreed to produce a second calendar for us for 2006 a particularly special year for us as we celebrate ten years working in the community."
Copies of The Heart of Art calendar (with postal envelope) are available from Ascend, Oxhey Library and other local outlets for a minimum donation of £3 per calendar. To order, telephone Christine Wyard on 020 8420 1364.
