RESIDENTS are being warned against wasp nest removal scammers who claim to be working for Dacorum Borough Council.
A concerned Watford resident contacted the council this week, after they were taken in by the scam.
A stall was set up on Bushey Heath Green in July, offering the wasp removal service on behalf of Dacorum Borough Council.
However, neither Dacorum or Watford Borough Council have any connection to it.
Dacorum have only heard from one resident so far but fear more may have been conned.
The fraud section has been informed and are currently investigating.
