A THREE-MILE spate of road-rage by a drunken driver who chased another car closely and at high speed, ended with the deaths of two teenagers as the car they were travelling in turned over.
As the two youngsters lay dying, David Stone, who was almost three times over the drink-drive limit, started a fight with the only one able to get out of the overturned Renault, prosecutor Jonathan Whiteley told Isleworth Crown Court on Friday.
Stone, a 22 year-old father-of-two, of Berry Lane, Rickmansworth, admitted two charges of causing the deaths of the youngsters by careless driving while over the alcohol limit in West Drayton, on April 28 this year.
He denied causing the deaths by dangerous driving and this was accepted by the prosecution.
He was jailed for four-and-a-half years and banned from driving for eight years.
