FREE fitness classes and health advice will be on offer at Westfield Community Sports Centre this weekend.
To celebrate the first anniversary of the opening of the centre, a series of free "come and try" activities will be held on Saturday and Sunday.
Watford Borough Councillor, Shirena Counter, portfolio holder for leisure said: "This is a good opportunity for residents to see what the sports centre has to offer, or for current users to try something completely new.
"The facilities are amazing, and the staff are all extremely helpful. I would really encourage as many people as possible to make the most of this great opportunity."
Activities on offer include fitness classes, ballet, drama and dance classes, spray tanning, henna tattoos and football.
For the young at heart, there are face painting, badge making and trampoline sessions, as well as visits from the Fire Brigade and guided walks.
Ten free adult inductions into the gym, and six free Young Weights inductions will also be on offer.
These will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bookings can be made over the phone or in person on the day telephone a membership adviser on 01923 670 644.
The centre, which is managed by Watford Borough Council, has a 40-station gym; a 30-person dance studio, which also caters for group spinning classes; a four court sports hall; badminton and basketball courts; indoor nets for cricket practise; and an all-weather pitch.
