PUPILS and teacher across South West Herts were celebrating impressive A-level results in August.

Overall, there was a 100 per cent pass rate at the school, with 94 per cent of boys achieving A or B grades, of which 72.4 per cent were A grades.
The high pass rate secures almost every boy a place at the university of their choice.
The school attributes its success to the hard work of the boys and their teachers, combined with excellent facilities, including enhanced IT facilities and some of the best school science laboratories in the country.
Meanwhile girls at Northwood College were revelling in an 100 per cent A-level pass rate, with 79 per cent of pupils leaving school with A or B grades.
A total of 22 per cent of the girls attained straight A grades.
The success marks the third year the school has celebrated a 100 per cent pass rate, but this year's pupils have been applauded for achieving the best ever value added score.
A recrod number of pupils at Merchant Taylors' School in Northwood scored A grades in this year's A-levels.
Three candidates Simon Christian-Edwards, Toby Miller and David Puttergill achieved five A grades. Overall, 65.3 per cent of boys received A grades, while 87.7 per cent received A/B grades.
