A SKATEBOARDING session to teach local children the art of kick-flips, kick-turns and getting air over the funbox took place at Croxley skatepark last Friday.
Sixteen young people turned up to the event, including novice boarder Adam Church.
He said: "The instructors were really helpful and it's a really nice park to skate at.
"I have made new friends and am more confident, both skating and socially".
Croxley Green skatepark is a 12-piece concrete facility including mini-half pipe, flat banks, quarter pipes, fun box, spine, half pyramid, jump box, grind block and rails.
It is supervised during opening hours by first aid-qualified staff and is free to use until October.
