A TEAM of canvassers will be out and about in Watford from Friday, encouraging people to register to vote.
Watford Borough Council's team will be delivering the registration forms until Sunday, September 4.
Residents need to complete the form to make sure their details are included in the new electoral register, published on December 1, 2005.
Debbie Moore, electoral services manager at Watford Borough Council, said: "We want the forms back sooner rather than later to allow us to update the register so it is as accurate as possible.
"All details on the form need to be based on residents' circumstances on the relevant date, October 15.
Anyone who needs help in filling out the form can telephone Ms Moore on 01923 278369.
