WORK has been carried out to remove an unsightly mound of rubble at Kings Langley Football Club.
The rubble was dumped on the site after the club agreed to a delivery of top soil two years ago. Hertfordshire County Council served the club with an enforcement notice for its removal back in February.
The club appealed because they couldn't afford to foot the bill and they felt they were being unfairly treated, as they were conned into receiving the rubble. Now Button Demolition have provided a machine, fuel and other equipment free of charge to carry out the work.
