WOMEN will be walking ten miles in red knickers to raise money for the fight against the cancer they call the silent killer.
Night knicker walk organiser, Lorraine Kennealy, is appealing for more walkers to join the 30 already signed up.
Participants will wear red underwear over their leggings or shorts and visit 25 pubs during the evening to collect money from customers.
The event, which will raise funds for the Cancer Treatment Research Trust at Mount Vernon hospital, takes place on Friday, August 19.
For further details about how to get involved, or to make a donation, telephone Lorraine on 01923 260621.
