MEASURES to reduce the risk of accidents in Uxbridge Road, Mill End, will be on display at Three Rivers House.
The proposals includes extending the 30 m.p.h. speed limit at the western end of the road, introducing coloured road surfaces, improving existing zebra crossings, road signs and markings and work on a one-way system for Elm Way and Park Way.
The exhibition can be seen during normal office hours from mid-day on Tuesday, January 27. On Thursday, January 29, the project engineer and manager will be on hand between 5pm and 8pm to answer questions.
The move to improve safety comes after 54 people were injured over a three-year period on Uxbridge Road between Maple Cross roundabout and Ebury roundabout.
