Rugby Union: St Albans 100 Old Grammarians 10
A DOMINANT display by a team which contained eight changes saw St Albans run up a century of points against Old Grammarians on Saturday.
Returning Dave Graham at fly half helped himself to an incredible 35 points as Saints romped to a 100-10 victory.
Despite the fact that Grammarians are two leagues below St Albans, it was thought so many changes in the side would even the gap but the home side put together a fantastic display.
It was a true team effort as the forwards' interplay, rucking and handling was matched by the devastating way the backs took advantage of the opportunities that came their way.
In all, they ran in 15 tries, which included a hat-trick for Alan Cahoon and two for Graham who converted 11 scores.
The only downsides to the win were an injury sustained by flanker Keith Bothick and also the two opposition tries which arose largely out of Saints' tiredness.
The massacre is Saints' third win on the trot and they will be looking to cement their current good form with a win over Chiswick in the league this Saturday.
