This summer Boreham Wood FC plan to expand their Football in the Community scheme by offering local children the chance to participate in a new multi-sports and activities camp.
The aim of the scheme is to give youngsters a summer of sport fun at an affordable price. Supervising this new initiative is Jason Maguire who has a wealth of experience having worked with Barnet Football Club for a number of years and lately at Middlesex Cricket Club. At Middlesex he was responsible for setting up successful sports schemes.
Maguire will be supported by qualified teaching staff who are giving up their summer holidays to work with youngsters.
Wood's multi-sports camp initiative, which runs from 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, has also been designed to help parents who work and may not be able to find a child minder.
The scheme costs just £40 and you can find out more by phoning BWFC on 020 8953 5097.
