Talented Times Group scholarship student Keelie Church has nearly finished her performing arts course.
The energetic 12-year-old was picked from dozens of young hopefuls.
Proud mum Angela, of North Finchley, said: 'It was a dream come true for Keelie ,, she loved every minute of it.'
In September the Times Group teamed up with borough-based Jigsaw Arts to offer a term's free scholarship to its weekly classes in dance, drama and arts.
'I don't think Keelie realised how talented she was,' her mum added.
Later this year we'll be offering another scholarship in conjunction with Jigsaw.
Right now the performing arts school is gearing up for the holidays with four themed summer schools. Treasure Island week begins on Monday for five to 15-year-olds at Bell Lane School in Bell Lane, Hendon. After that it's town & country week, galaxy week and, finally, seasons week.
Classes run from 9.30am to 3.30pm daily with entertaining and educational activities in singing, dance, drama and arts. Every Friday relatives will be invited along to watch a special performance.
