I feel I must write to congratulate the organisers of the Shenley Fete which my husband, his daughter and myself attended together with our three various size poodles.
It was a glorious day weather-wise, showing village life at its best and with everyone joining in with the fun.
There were lots of young families with children and grandparents, a great selection of dogs in all shapes and sizes, a good variety of stalls, and a great time was had by all.
It was indeed a day of innocent pleasure. Isn't it a pity that this spirit of camaraderie doesn't last all year round ? what a wonderful world it would be.
Just as a matter of interest one of our dogs won second best rescue dog and he will wear his rosette with pride.
