Boreham Wood FC plan to stage a Penalty King competition next month for youngsters aged from seven to 14 as part of their Football in the Community scheme.
The event will take place on Thursday, August 10 between 1.30pm and 4pm. For £1 kids can attempt to score three penalties with the chance to win prizes.
Each child who nets a penalty will receive a certificate and every youngster who scores all three receives a medal.
Every child who attends will be entered into a prize draw to compete in the BWFC Penalty King of Kings competition - taking place before Wood's home game against Walton & Hersham on August 26. For more details about the penalty event phone Jason Maguire on 8953 5097.
