A nursery owner has been picked to fight Hertsmere for the Labour Party amid speculation of a May general election.
Hilary Broderick, 56, from Bedfordshire, runs a children's day centre. She is a learning difficulties specialist with grown-up children and a Mid Beds district councillor.
Mrs Broderick said: 'This Labour Government deserves a second term and a Labour MP will help bring the benefits to the people of Hertsmere.'
Fighting Hertsmere will be Mrs Broderick's first general election. Constituents can contact her through her message service on 01767 317 281.
