A MOTORIST was set upon by two men on the A405 North Orbital Road, St Albans, last Wednesday in what is believed to be a road rage attack.
The victim was driving his blue Volkswagen Golf along the M10 towards St Albans between 9am and 9.10am when his car touched the bumper of a Volkswagen Caddy Van in front of him.
As he followed the van along the motorway, the driver of the van then slowed down and changed lanes to make sure that the Golf could not overtake.
As this happened, a lorry driver had to swerve behind both vehicles to avoid hitting them.
All three vehicles came off the M10 onto the A405 when the van driver indicated to the Golf driver to pull over.
As the Golf driver got out to exchange details, the van driver went over and attacked him.
While this was going on, the lorry driver pulled into a lay-by, got out and joined in punching and kicking the Golf driver.
