Ex-Hillside pupil Jamie Lever, who has already taken top honours in this season's county athletics championships by winning a gold medal in the long jump and a bronze in the 100m, is setting his sights to achieve much more.
Now being coached and trained hard at Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers, Jamie is getting better at every meeting, achieving personal bests each time he competes.
Last weekend he went to Sheffield Stadium to compete in the AAA England Championships. The standard of the opposition was of the highest quality but Jamie gave them a run and jump for their money finishing in the top 10.
