Most of us are probably hoping for some sustained sunshine before we start contemplating the Autumn, but the Radlett Centre is already looking forward to September.

Among the shows which are selling well include An Evening With Rabbi Lionel Blue, which will be staged at the Aldenham Avenue centre on Sunday, September 17, at 7.30pm.

Known to millions through his broadcasts on BBC Radio, Rabbi Lionel, who mixes humour with humility and has a flair for the ridiculous, limits his live appearances to one a month.

On Saturday, September 23, starting at 8pm, there will be a treat for lovers of classic musicals with Rave On ,, The Wonderful West End.

The show features a cast of 12, including singers, dancers, a narrator and a five-piece band, who will perform hits from productions such as Buddy and Grease.

Nick Hornby's best-selling book Fever Pitch will be brought to the stage at the Radlett Centre on Saturday, October 14 at 8pm.

This is a fast, funny and exhilarating production of the novel about families, football, class, identity and joy in 1960s suburbia.

A day later, on Sunday, October 15, Bee Gees Gold will perform a tribute to four decades of Bee Gees music, starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets are already selling fast for the first visit by European Ballet with the Tchaikovsky classic Sleeping Beauty, which will be staged on November 14 and 16.

This major production is currently on a nationwide tour, and has been directed by former Bolshoi Ballet principal dancer Stanislav Tchassov.
