THE controversial closure of the maternity unit at Hemel Hempstead Hospital has prompted the North West Herts Community Health Council to call a public meeting to question health bosses.
The meeting, will be held at 7.30pm at Dacorum Borough Council offices on Thursday, October 18.
Representatives of West Herts Hospitals NHS Trust and Hertfordshire Partnership Trust have been invited to talk about the reasons behind the decision to move the special care baby unit and the maternity unit from Hemel Hempstead to Watford.
