ST ALBANS City Midweek Youth produced a stunning fightback at Ruislip last Wednesday to claim two goals in the final two minutes to snatch a dramatic victory.
Saints had a couple of chances early on, but it was the home side that took the lead when Mo Yussef headed home from Evrin Bradza's free-kick.
Ollie Lutton, Greg Deacon, Matt Jones and Chris Seeby all came close to netting the equaliser but Peter Hanson had to look lively at the other end to stop Ruislip going two up.
Saints pressed hard for the equaliser but were unable to find the net in spite of their pressure.
However, Craig Mackail-Smith came off the bench and rescued Saints with a fine looping header over the keeper after Ben Graham had flicked the ball on.
With a draw looking the likely result, Kenny Hull sent over a free-kick from the left which Ben Graham got on the end of to complete the dramatic comeback.
