FORGET Newcastle United versus Liverpool, when Holywell and Fullerians meet there is usually some form of drama around the corner, and Sunday's six-goal thriller was no exception.
Holywell raced into a two-goal lead, when Matt Tyas lofted the ball into an unguarded net and Martin Picton headed home for his fifth of the season, only for Fullerians to make it 2-1, courtesy of a spectacular Jamie Tyas own goal.
With the wind behind them, Fullerians manager Chris Coleman made some inspired substitutions, which saw them lay siege to the Holywell goal, and they fully deserved their 80th minute equaliser, when Asif Butt brilliantly lobbed the keeper from 30 yards.
Holywell substitute Darren Birchall seemed to have grabbed the winning goal, stroking the ball home with just two minutes left on the clock, but striker Butt was not to be outdone.
With seconds left, the prolific front man nipped in front of his marker from a corner and bundled the ball over the line to make the final score 3-3.
"It was a fair result, but Fullerians have proven to be our bogey team and we'll be looking to get revenge in the return fixture," said Holywell spokesman Colin Stubbs.
Elsewhere in Division Two, Sun Postal Sports continued their winning ways with a 5-2 away win over The Tree.
The Tree dominated possession for much of the game, but had to come from behind twice in the first half, thanks to a double strike from John Robb.
Level at 2-2 at half time, Robb continued his good form in to the second period, securing his hat-trick, and Sun Postal's third, with a delightful chip over the keeper from 15 yards.
