Ryman League Division Three
by ADAM RYNHOLD
In an incident-filled match, three players, namely Wingate's Naim Uka and Clapton pair Cargill and Gsaib were given red cards and three penalties were converted.
Kosovo-born Uka, on loan from Leyton Orient, opened the scoring from the spot in the 28th minute, after Paul Wood was pushed off the ball.
Richard Baum stretched Wingate's lead in the 39th minute, nodding home a Uka corner.
However, Gornon replied for Clapton with a penalty on the stroke of half-time.
Wingate were well on top in the second half and continued to create chances after Uka was given his marching orders following his second bookable offence.
Cargill was the next player to receive an early bath when he pulled down Dean Williams in the 76th minute. From the free kick, substitute John Butterfield made it 3-1.
Two minutes later, Clapton were reduced to nine men when Gsaib was sent off for his second bookable offence.
When Butterfield was fouled in the last minute, Williams fired in the spot kick.
WINGATE AND FINCHLEY: Goodman, Neilsen, Piler, Donn (Pearl 80), Ellis, Fenton, Wood (Morris 54), Uka, Fitzpatrick (Butterfield 70), Williams, Baum.
