FOUR Hertfordshire organisations, including two from the St Albans area, have made it through to the final stages of the Government's National Training Awards, to be held next month.
The awards acknowledge companies and individuals who make outstanding contributions towards workplace training and skills development. This year, half of the companies which will attend the East of England awards on November 7 are Hertfordshire-based.
The National Pharmaceutical Association of St Albans, HSBC Bank Plc of Bricket Wood, Cooks Delight Ltd of Berkhamsted and First Quench of Welwyn Garden City have all been praised for their commitment to training and personal development.
The East of England winner will then be invited to a ceremony on December 11, when Secretary of State for Education and Skills, Estelle Morris MP, will announce the winner.
