Ten-man Walkern, from the Royston League, were outplayed by Wood Youth, who put on a tremendous performance.
Wood started slowly and it was 20 minutes before the first goal of the game, but from then on all the play was with Wood.
At half-time score was 4-0. Three substitutions were made at half-time, and in the second half Wood carried on applying pressure.
Wood made some fine passing moves and moved into the Walkern half, making several good shots that went just past the mark.
But the Borehamwood side managed to score another five goals, bringing the final tally to nine, and put in a very good performance despite the opposition having only ten men.
The goalscorers were Wyse, Pringle, Johnson, Stephens, Skipsey and Blackburne with four goals.
