Borehamwood U14s travelled up the A1 to make it six games unbeaten against a previously unbeaten Knebworth Youth.
The Borehamwood side were soon in their stride, and the lively Danny Fitzgerald forced a fine shot from the Knebworth keeper.
Mitchell Haylock and Richard Barker secured the midfield with some strong tackling and clever passing, from which Ross Hanley opened the scoring.
Knebworth soon equalised from a rare raid down the left, when a shot was only parried by the Borehamwood keeper, for a jubilant Knebworth striker to smash home.
Borehamwood soon took the lead again, after good play down the right set up Arron Woodcock, who laid it back to Ross Hanley, to drive in his second.
Substitute Martin Wells made it 3-1 with his first touch, as Cain Davey pulled it back for him to steer home from six yards.
Striker Hanley completed his hat-trick just before half-time with a shot on the run, to put Borehamwood 4-1 up.
Second half goals from Jamie Hazell, Cain Davey and a 30-yard drive from Ricky Weymouth completed the scoring, as the Borehamwood side eased through to the next round.
