The first round of the Challenge Cup saw Borehamwood give an awesome display against Pinnacle.
The boys from the Wood dominated the first half and were 4-0 up at the break, with three goals from eventual man of the match George Saunders and one from Chris Brothwood.
There was much of the same in the second half, with Wood on top from the outset. Young Urki in the middle showed excellent vision with his passing.
Jack The Bouncer' Tidd was solid at the back, along with Scott Austin, who replaced the injured Sam Cole. Wood eventually ran out 8-0 winners, with further goals from Tom, Steve, a second from Chris, and the hard working Matt Whichelow.
Wood: Seal, Tidd, Cole (Austin), Whichelow, Urquhart (Grout), Saunders, Brothwood (Blake).
