Aldenham are enjoying the County Cup so far this season 14 goals in their first two ties have seen them through to round three.
On Saturday they despatched Cottered from Buntingford.
It was all go from the start as Aldenham, who were without top scorer Dave Denty, and lost Paul Stevens just before the game, created some good chances.
Eventually they took the lead when Pete Holmes turned and ran through to present strike partner Rob Botwright with an open net.
Holmes then hit the bar after great work by young Ben Rowe.
The goal feast came in the second half. First Pete Holmes hit a cracker into the top corner on the turn, then he set up Botwright for his second, to make it 3-0.
A slip by returning keeper Richard Langford let the visitors back in, but Darren Wadkins restored Aldo's three goal lead with a looping header from Matt Gravatt's free kick.
Man of the match Pete Holmes then added his second dribbling through to slot under the Cottered keeper.
Rob Botwright completed the scoring with a deft finish after a great throughball by Keith Furniss, for his hat-trick.
Manager Andy Furniss said: "We've only lost once in eight games this season, and with all the changes through injuries, it's great credit to the lads that we're going well."
