A 3-0 victory in a half-paced match against Bedford United on Saturday, October 13, was just what London Colney required ahead of their toughest few weeks of the season.

They are due to meet Kerry Dixon's Letchworth Town on Saturday, this time in the FA Vase, before league matches against defending champions Beaconsfield followed by a trip to Dunstable Town.

Division One

Colney Heath warmed up for their FA Vase Cup match at Norwich United on Saturday, October 13, with a convincing 4-0 victory over Brimsdown Rovers. The Magpies are now seven points off second placed Harefield United and have a game in hand.

Meanwhile, Harpenden Town drew their fifth match of the campaign with a 2-2 home result against Cockfosters on Saturday.

Assistant manager Geoff Isaac took up the reigns in the absence of manager Martin Forsyth and after introducing more experience to the defence in the shape of sweeper Simon Foster, saw his charges fight back to secure a point.

Kings Langley are the visitors on Saturday, October 20.
