TWO second half goals gave Kings Langley a 2-0 away win at Winslow United on Saturday, October 13, in Division One of the Spartan South Midlands League.
After a hard fought first period, Mark Congalton, who had earlier hit the bar with an audacious chip, opened the scoring on the hour mark when he headed home a cross from the gifted left foot of Chris Campbell.
Jon Devlin sealed Langley's fifth win of the season when he fired a deep centre from Mark Welling into the roof of the net.
The victory sees Kings Langley move into 13th place in the Division One table, but if Colin Jones' men can win their games in hand, they will soar to third place and be right in among the promotion places.
Kings Langley Reserves made it a successful day for the club, with a brace from top scorer George Tanasa firing them to a 2-1 win at home to Welwyn Garden City.
