THE M11 southbound between junction 7 (Harlow) and junction 6 (the M25) will have lane closures this weekend (October 20) while emergency repairs are carried out in the nearside lane.
A 5m concrete slab has split and sunk by between 60mm and 70mm, and the inside lane of the southbound carriageway is already closed.
Repairs will start at about 8pm on Saturday, when both lanes one and two will be closed. The outside lane will remain open.
The broken slab will be removed on Saturday night and replaced on Sunday morning.
Lane two should reopen at about noon on Sunday (October 21). The southbound carriageway will be fully open by 5pm on Sunday.
