ANNE PEAT says in In Good Faith, "Religion condemns crimes of hatred."

May I recommend Christians to read the bible?

I could suggest Levy 26:22.31 onwards and Psalm 136, "O give thanks unto the God of gods... to him that smote Egypt in their first born... for his mercy endureth forever".

But to list the evil the Bible teaches would fill the paper!

There are many things which cause suffering in the world but currently, as historically, religion is the worst.

I agree with Anne's approach to the situation, but it is very unchristian.
