ST ALBANS have been handed a tricky cup tie in the third round of the English Hockey Association's Men's Cup.
Julian Hall's men will entertain Teddington Hockey Club of the Premier Division on Sunday, November 4 at Clarence Park.
Teddington narrowly missed relegation from the Premier Division last season, having to rely on a play-off victory against Chelmsford to ensure top-flight hockey this campaign.
However, the Chiswick side seemed to have turned it around this term. Currently they are sitting fourth in the table with a loss against high-flying Reading their only reversal in five games.
The Tangerines will fancy their chances of causing an upset though. The Saints scored more goals than any other team in the National League while shot-shy Teddington scored fewer goals than anyone else.
