A young Borehamwood darts player got the chance to play against the reigning World PDC Matchplay Champion in an exhibition match last week.
Danny Digweed, a member of the Hertfordshire Under 18 County Squad, was picked to play Phil Taylor in Welwyn Garden City on Thursday.
Although Danny did not win this game, it followed an impressive victory for him in his debut match for the county squad, against Berkshire.
Danny won his game 2-0, at Welwyn Country Club, but unfortunately it was not enough to stop Berkshire winning the match by a score of 5-4.
He has been selected to represent the county squad again for a match against Essex Under 18s on Sunday, November 11.
