A WOMAN is in intensive care after suffering serious head injuries when her car collided with a bus at the junction of South Way and Bishop's Rise in Hatfield on Monday, October 22.
The 20-year-old Hatfield woman was taken to the QEII Hospital in Welwyn Garden City.
The 42-seater bus, which was travelling along Route 614, had left Hertfordshire University at 3.10pm and was emerging from Bishop's Rise to turn right onto South Way with 46 passengers on board when it collided with the purple Vauxhall Corsa.
Nobody on board the bus, including the driver, was injured and passengers were transferred onto another bus to continue their journey.
Police are calling for witnesses, particularly passengers on board the bus, to contact PC Paul Squires on 01992 533015.
