IT WAS the usual story in the West Herts League Premier Division on Saturday, October 27, as both Hemel Hempstead Rovers and Kings Sports enjoyed impressive victories once again.
Hat-trick hitting Danny Jones led the scoring as Rovers demolished Oxhey 9-0. Paul Jones and Pat Coregan added a brace apiece, and the rout was rounded off by Spencer Jackson and man-of-the-match Richard Harvey.
Meanwhile, Kings dispensed of the challenge of Oxhey Jets A 5-0, through Paulo Cezar (2), Warren Lay, Peter Kouwnberg and Glen Dimmock.
In Division One, Oxhey Wanderers followed up the previous week's first win with another against Croxley Guild, despite going a goal behind.
Steve Brown equalised before Ross Buckley added a second, and Steve Noonan wrapped up the 3-1 win with his first goal for the club.
A Kevin Eaton treble and two from John King gave Top of the World an easy 5-1 success over L'Artista, while Paul Geary's goal for Met Police Bushey A was cancelled out by Langleybury CC.
For the rest of the weekend's action, see The Watford Observer on Friday, November 2.
