Finchley 31 OMT 18 London League
Division Three North-West
Ahead in the first minute with a try from Charlie Curtis, Finchley trailed 18-5 at half-time against OMT on Saturday. But a strong second half performance earned them a 31-18 victory.
Following a series of rucks, the ball was passed to Curtis, who scored in the corner. But OMT went well clear with a converted try, a try and two penalties.
Number eight Alun James was the inspiration as Finchley secured more first phase ball and turned the tables through tries by Ollie Richardson, Mark George, Tim McAuliffe and Nash Cohen, with James Webb adding three conversions.
Finchley entertain Harrow in a friendly on Saturday, kick-off 2.30pm.
