Evergreen OB 4
Aldenham 1An understrength Aldenham turned in a dismal display in defeat against Evergreen on Saturday.
The Blues' patched-up team started brightly, and were denied a clear penalty in the opening minute.
Pete Holmes went around the keeper and squared for Dave Denty, whose shot was handled on the line, but not seen by the referee. This was about as exciting as it got for Aldenham, and the hosts scored a cracker to lead at half time.
Evergreen carried on where they had left off putting two more past Aldenham.
Botwright then sent Matt Gravatt away, and his pass was slotted home by Pete Holmes to give the Blues some hope.
But Evergreen wrapped things up with a fourth goal late on.
