THERE has been a spate of burglaries in Bushey over the past week.
The first one happened in The Squirrels, Bushey, on Thursday, October 25.
Sometime between 11.10am and 6pm, intruders entered an open garage and stole golf equipment, including a tailor-made bag and a number of golf clubs. They also took fishing tackle.
Altogether, the goods are estimated to be worth about £1,000.
The next burglary took place in Beechcroft Road, Bushey, on Monday, October 26, between 8.20am and 6.40pm. The offenders force open a ground floor window but only stole £40 cash from the property.
More bizarre still was a burglary in Brooke Way, Bushey, between 7pm and 10.40pm on Monday, October 26. The intruders got in by forcing the patio doors and then they put the chain on the front door.
They left several items by the back door, only bothering to take two toy dolls with them. One of the dolls has Sarah on the dress. It has blond hair and a blue and white dress.
