Premier Division
LONDON COLNEY gave the clearest indication yet that their title aspirations are of the serious kind after overwhelming defending champions Beaconsfield 4-2 on Saturday, October 27.
Mickey Wright's team have a chance to test out fourth-placed Dunstable Town's title credentials in their next match on Saturday, November 3.
Division One
London Colney switched their attention from the FA Vase to the league before beating Pistone & Ivinghoe 2-0 and then returned to cup action on Saturday, October 27, to beat Cuffley 3-2 in the Herts Senior Centenary Trophy. It is league action next on Saturday, November 3, with an away trip to Letchworth Bridger.
Meanwhile, Harpenden Town appear to be finding the right blend of youth and experience and became only the second team to beat Stony Stratford this season with a 3-1 victory.
However, it was not quite so good against Risborough Rangers, who won 5-1 on Saturday, October 27, after Town were reduced to nine men. Harp face bottom club Amersham this weekend.
