RADLETT had a total lack of motivation when they found that they were playing against a depleted nine-man Wheathampstead, but still ran out 5-1 winners.

The first half saw Radlett continually attacking down the right with little effect, and Wheathampstead's nine defended well until Radlett spread the play left.

Ian Hobey put Nick Hanyours through to open the scoring with a curling shot, and this was followed soon by a deep cross to the far post where Cesar Da-Silva drove home from short range.

Radlett then started to settle and made the most of their numerical advantage, with Cesar Da-Silva scoring two more.

Wheathampstead were reduced further through injury but even with eight men managed to score when Jason Price netted following a goal-mouth scramble.

The second half saw Wheathampstead looking like the team with the extra men but were caught out at the back as Radlett's Dave Quartly scored the only goal of the second half.

Phoenix ran out comfortable 8-1 winners in a one-sided match against Sandridge Sports. Phoenix dominated from the start and two goals from Liam Howley gave them a 2-0 half time advantage.

Sandridge pulled one back through Lee Southon, but this only served to further ignite Phoenix and further goals came from Danny Bathurst (2), Tony Alveranga (2), Mark Proto. A scrappy effort from Mark Riddell completed the victory.
