FIRE services have reported a quiet bonfire Saturday night, with no major incidents, on what is traditionally one of the busiest nights of the year for stations across the country.
Watford fire crews were called out to three separate incidents where wheelie bins were deliberately set alight, but say the number of calls was typical of any Saturday night.
The call-outs were at 9pm Saturday, and 1am Sunday just off the high street, and 8pm at the Hollywell Community Centre.
A Watford fire station spokesman said: "It was an excellent night from our point of view, there was nothing major."
