HAVING put together some decent performances in the last month without just reward, Sandridge Rovers let their standards drop a few notches on Saturday, October 27, and duly beat Croxley Guild 6-0 in the Herts Centenary Senior Trophy.
Sandridge next face holders Elliott Star in the Aubrey Cup on Saturday, November 3, and are hoping to improve on last season's run, which took them to the semi-finals.
Elsewhere, after last weekend's contentious league defeat St Peter's exacted a degree of revenge on London Lions in the Herts Centenary Senior Trophy on Saturday, October 27.
St Peter's needed penalties though, after extra time failed to seperate the two teams, who scored three each. St Peter's took the penalties 8-7 on penalties.
St Peter's turn to the league next time out as they face fourth-placed Bovingdon on Saturday.
