A ROBBERY took place at the Co-operative supermarket in Cell Barnes Lane, St Albans, at 2pm on Sunday, October 28, when a thief selected a 10p sweet, put it on the counter and, after the shop assistant opened the till, grabbed a handful of bank notes.
The suspect is described as black, aged between 20 to 25, with red eyes and was wearing a black zip-up jacket with a dark top.
It is the third time the store has been robbed this year.
