Hertsmere continued their unbeaten start to their league campaign.
Their first chance came when Chris Darke broke free, only to see the opposing keeper turn the ball away. From the resulting corner Phil Coe hit a rasping left foot powerdriver, and, with the keeper rooted to the spot, the ball rebounded off the crossbar.
With time ticking by, Hertsmere got another corner, which Charlie Pollecutt returned into the goal area for Aaron Baker to head home with a flying header.
Hertsmere were quickly two up, as Aaron Baker grabbed his second with a neat chip after some good work from Nick Walsh on the half-way line.
Hertsmere started the second half as they finished the first, with a neat goal from Chris Darke.
The game slowed with Hertsmere in a strong commanding position, as they created more chances.
London Road continued to hit on the break, and only three world class saves from Andy Williams kept them at bay.
