Young witches and vampires hovered over to the Hawksmoor Centre recently to enjoy a Hallowe'en evening as part of a holiday playscheme.
Staff at the leisure centre, in Potters Lane, Borehamwood, kept 60 children, aged from five to 14, entertained with a host of activities during half-term.
The highlight of the week was the Hallowe'en party, which included a fancy dress competition and visits to a 'haunted house' created at the centre.
The five-day playscheme also involved trampolining, a football tournament, a treasure hunt, a fashion show and an afternoon quiz challenge.
Playleader Laura Gardner said: "The Hallowe'en experience simply topped an extremely fun week and the children loved the various activities they got to do."
The winners of the fancy dress contest were Amanda Moore and Adam Prince, in the over-eights category, and Paige Blackwell and Kasey Nicholson, in the under-eights.
The Hawksmoor Centre's next holiday playscheme will take place between January 2 and January 4.
