Children from St Teresa's School in Borehamwood hope to take part in an art exhibition this month as part of the NSPCC's annual Craft Fair.
They recently met Ann Goddard, a volunteer with the charity, and showed her works of art they had been working on for the exhibition.
Headteacher Michael Nolan said the exhibition was a useful way of encouraging children to take up art, as they would want to see their work displayed in public.
He said the school was keen to support the NSPCC's work against cruelty towards children, and to encourage pupils' awareness about the problem, and how to obtain help.
Any child aged up to seven years can submit works for the exhibition, and the best pieces will be displayed at the Craft Fair, to be held at Allum Lane Community Centre on Sunday, November 18.
To take part, telephone Dr Goddard on 020 8953 1436 or take the work, including your name, address and telephone number, to the community centre, where it will be collected.
